One of my girlhood friends, Beth Barr, would laugh at me saying I knew every word to every song on the radio. It was truth. I would ride my bike to her house often, simply because I enjoyed being there, but also because going to her house meant I could ride my bike past my girlhood crush's house. My family used to tease me about him; would call him BRONCO bc he rode wheelie on his dirt bike. I adored his grit from afar. Anyhow, I digress. Here is Beth, we were sitting on my bed, right next to my little radio (she is wearing the tank top), and apparently I was into coloring German-esque artwork with hearts and flowers.
These were the first albums to define my core to this day ....the songs, ...the album pictures, ......each one is a immense part of my Being, like blood in my veins or prints on my fingertips. Music was always my refuge and still is.
